Toronto’s getting a new addition to its culinary offerings on King St. Vancouver’s premier sushi and hand roll bar, Hello Nori is officially opening in the city.
Head west on King Street and just before you get to Bathurst, you’ll notice a storefront with its windows boarded up. The letters “coming soon” in bold standout and the Hello Nori logo is tucked to the left.
The exclusive Japanese restaurant has kept its promise to expand to our lovely city and construction is underway, according to Hello Nori in an email to Curiocity.

Back in 2022, it opened its doors in Vancouver and since then it has established itself, becoming a beloved and well-known go-to spot for hand rolls.
“Hello Nori strives to become the most accomplished and innovative hand roll experience available around beautiful Vancouver,” shares its website.
“As we deliver only the best Japanese cuisine, we will expand to new areas and develop our menu to meet the fantastic culinary scene of British Columbia.”
Though we’re excited for its opening here in the east, there’s no set date as to when Toronto can enjoy its sushi creations.
The restaurant did share that it had planned to open in the city back in 2023 though of course, it was delayed.
But as always, we’ll be patiently waiting for the day they open their doors in the city.
And we’ll definitely be getting a hand roll or two.
