When one bar closes, another opens in its place and although we’ll forever miss WURST, it’ll be nice to see the ol’ Mission location come back to life. This week in an Instagram post, smokin’ joint Hayden Block announced that they’ll be opening a new BBQ restaurant and Brewery in the space that the beer Haus left unoccupied earlier this year.
This will be what they’re calling a ‘full-scale brew operation’ with tasty meats and locally crafted ale. Unfortunately, not much else is really known about the new spot just yet, but it does sound a little different than both the Kensington Hayden Block location and sister restaurant Comery Block on 17th.

BBQ is their game and we’re willing to play no matter where they’re stationed. Luckily we won’t have to wait too much longer to get in and get drinking, because while they’ve remained pretty mum about the details they did say that they will be opening this summer.
Honestly, we can’t wait to see how they spruce up the place and are extremely excited to check it out once we’re given the green light.
