The highly-anticipated Harry Potter and the Cursed Child show has finally arrived on the Mirvish stage here in Toronto, and if you’re planning to score tickets, you may be able to get them at a huge discount.

Mirvish has unveiled a ticket lottery system called The Golden Snitch Ticket Lottery, releasing a limited number of discounted tickets every week.

If you’re the lucky recipient of a Golden Snitch ticket, you’ll only have to pay $40 for your seat. Normal prices range from $119 to $260 per ticket, so you’d be getting a serious deal.

Once you’ve entered, all that’s left to do is cross your fingers and hope for good news in your inbox!

It’s worth noting that a maximum of two tickets can be eligible per entry and the seats will vary.

If you don’t know what this world-famous show is all about, it’s a riveting stage performance featuring “spectacular spells, a mind-blowing race through time, and an epic battle to stop mysterious forces.”

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child begins 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world. Now they’re back on a most extraordinary new adventure – this time, joined by a brave new generation that has only just arrived at the legendary Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” says the description.

This is the first Harry Potter story to ever be presented on stage. It’s also the first time that this show has come to Canada, so it’s a pretty big deal.

The show will take place on select dates throughout the summer and fall, so you have plenty of time to see it and try your luck in the Golden Snitch Lottery.

Good luck and enjoy the show!
