Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is finally making its spectacular premiere in Toronto

Attention Potterheads, this is not a drill! Tickets to the highly-anticipated production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Toronto are going on sale in just a few weeks. The announcement comes one year after the show was postponed due to the pandemic, so this show has been a long time coming.

This version of the world’s most award-winning play will feature an all-Canadian cast and it’ll bring the wizarding world of Harry Potter to life on the Mirvish stage. It was originally a two-part event but has since been recreated into a singular action-packed performance.

“With just one ticket in hand, audiences will enjoy all the adventure the continuation of Harry’s story entails in one magical afternoon or evening,” the description says.

Featuring “spectacular spells, a mind-blowing race through time, and an epic battle to stop mysterious forces,” this show will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish!

This reimagined performance is coming to cities all over North America, starting next month in New York City and San Francisco in early 2022. The original two-part version is sill running in cities like London, Melbourne, and Hamburg.

The Canadian show premieres at Toronto’s CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre on May 31st, 2022. It may be several months away, but ticket sales begin on December 1st, 2021 at 9 3/4, a.k.a. 9:45 a.m.

If you consider yourself a Potter superfan, you’ll want to mark your calendar for this one — given how popular this show is all around the globe, tickets are likely to sell fast.

To get yourself excited, you can go to a wizard festival near the city this November with a special mission for you to complete aboard the Hallows Express. Magic is coming our way, Toronto!
