It’s official! One of Toronto’s most iconic restaurant chains is making a comeback this year. Hard Rock Cafe is coming back to the city and here’s what to know.

In an emailed statement to Curiocity, a representative of the brand confirmed the news of its reopening in the city.

“Hard Rock Cafe Toronto is expected to reopen in the second half of 2024.”

Though not much else has been shared at this time, an image has been circulating on X (formerly Twitter) by user Sean Marshall of the Hard Rock Cafe signage inside The Tenor at Yonge-Dundas.

Its new location is just steps away from where its previous location used to be, right in front of the Eaton Centre where the current Shoppers Drug Mart stands.

Hard Rock Cafe Toronto graced the dining scene for almost 40 years before closing down in 2017.

It’s known for serving American and local cuisine prepared by world-renowned chefs, according to OpenTable.

Guests were taking down musical memory lane with an extensive collection of musical memorabilia and historical tidbits.

Now after seven years, Toronto will soon see the return of this Rock n Roll themed spot.
