Are you thinking that a good summertime focus would be getting a little more culture in your life? Well, do we have an option for you! The now-iconic Broadway show Hamilton arrives in Edmonton next week, and you’ve got a few chances to see it! Here’s what to know.

The musical, created by Lin Manuel Miranda, will be playing at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for three-ish weeks, from June 21st to July 10th. So, whether you’re sneaking in for an afternoon matinee or going all out on a weekend show, you’ll definitely have ample opportunity to check it out.

Hamilton, naturally, follows the story of Alexander Hamilton, who was one of America’s founding fathers. The play broke the mould at the time, using a diverse cast and a wide range of musical genres to tell his tale. It paid off too, winning 11 Tony Awards as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2016. Yeah, even for Broadway, this is a big deal.
