The musical, created by Lin Manuel Miranda, will be playing at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium for three-ish weeks, from June 21st to July 10th. Hamilton, naturally, follows the story of Alexander Hamilton, who was one of America’s founding fathers. The play broke the mould at the time, using a diverse cast and a wide range of musical genres to tell his tale. It paid off too, winning 11 Tony Awards as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2016. Yeah, even for Broadway, this is a big deal.
