If you would’ve told us back in 2011 that the Weeknd would one day have his very own attraction at Halloween Horror Nights – we would’ve looked at you sideways. Not because we believed he was incapable, but because a musician (especially a Canadian one) being asked to create a haunted house for one of Universal Studios’ most iconic events – is practically unheard of.

Held annually, Halloween Horror Nights is where filmmakers, fans and celebrities come to play, scream and jump at the sight of macabre effects, ghoulish figures and ghostly apparitions.

Very few people outside of the movie industry get the chance to haunt, frighten and freak people out during such a BIG event – but Abel did that, and honestly – his attraction looks scary as hell.

Described as “music to your fears,” The Weeknd: Afterhours Nightmare gives those brave enough an inside look into the mind of Toronto’s own.

Featuring ‘bandaged maniacs,’ a grotesque mannequin masquerade and an otherworldly rave – guests will make their way through a series of terrifying rooms set to music from his most recent album.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to take a plane to get there – but if you’re anything like us – this particular house is just one more reason to head to Universal and cross off a bucket list item.

Good luck and enjoy! You will definitely won’t regret checking it out.
