These natural hot springs in BC are along a spectacular waterfront

Halcyon Hot Springs is truly a Canadian paradise, overlooking the pristine Upper Arrow Lake and towering Monashee Mountains in British Columbia. Its waters are known for their therapeutic, healing qualities, with a mineral content unlike any other in the world. So you can’t do much better than a trip here if you need some quality R&R!

Situated high in the mountains and surrounded by untouched wilderness, the natural hot springs offer visitors a spectacular waterfront area to relax in.

The resort has self-contained accommodation, fine dining, and of course, private dips for those wanting to slow down and rejuvenate themselves this season.

The hot springs are located on the upper deck, where you can float through the warm pool’s jetted swim channel, soaking up the waters’ beneficial minerals.

Ancient healing waters

Used for centuries by local First Nations, the ancient healing waters at Halcyon are widely revered for their therapeutic healing properties. Comprised of a mix of sodium, magnesium, lithium, calcium, and strontium, you’re sure to feel rejuvenated after your dip!

According to the hot springs, lithium has antidepressant, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties that can help regenerate pathways in the brain.

Oh, and did you know – Halcyon’s waters are so pure, that they can still be bottled and consumed today?!

As one of only a few hot springs in the world with waters of this purity, that’s saying something!
