One of Toronto’s favourite taco joints just opened a new location

Just in time for Taco Tuesday, one of the most beloved taquerias in town has announced the opening of its newest location. Gus Tacos is up and running at its fourth storefront in the Junction Triangle, serving up mouthwatering tacos of all types.

Tacos Gus gained immense popularity over the pandemic, expanding from their first storefront in Kensington Market to four in the span of two and a half years.

It’s been consistently ranked one of the best taquerias in Toronto, and for good reason. Just one bite into their flavourful tacos will tell you that it’s worth the hype!

“We wanted to do something very traditional,” said co-owner Emilio Bravo Morales to the Toronto Star. “When people eat our tacos, we want to transport them to Mexico with just a bite.”

Expanding during the pandemic came with some uncertainty for Morales, but the decision proved to be hugely successful.

Now, those who live, work, and spend time in the Junction Triangle will have authentic Mexican tacos at their fingertips.

But, you can also get your fix at the two other Gus Tacos locations in Parkdale and Bloorcourt Village.

If your taste buds could use a trip to Mexico in this frigid winter weather, tonight might be the night to hit up your nearest Gus.
