Rock Climb at Calgary Climbing Centre

double date ideas

If both couples are into adventure, trying new things, and love a physical challenge, rock climbing could be a fun experience! If you’ve never climbed before don’t fret! They welcome first-timers and don’t require bookings. You’ll be able to boulder or use the auto-belay machines with no special training. It’s as much about socializing as it is about fitness. It’s also about noodly forearms, at least for us.

Wine Tasting at City & Country

double date ideas

Order a glass of wine or a flight with charcuterie plates and desserts in Calgary’s first urban winery and tasting bar. City & Country sources grapes from wineries around the area and creates small production wines. Everything is done by hand in the facility at the back of the tasting bar. Their wines are vegan, gluten-free and have no added colours, flavours or sugars. Not that we should really need to convince you to have a wine night!
