This campground is beautiful as it is historically significant. Seriously, along with a range of hiking trails and scenic views of the lake, hop on an interpretive boat tour on Mazinaw Lake to check out the 260 Indigenous pictographs on Mazinaw Rock. This camping experience has something for everyone, from RV & car camping, to backcountry hike-in and canoe-in sites available.

 ALBION HILLS

This conservation park is perfect for the adventure seeker out there. Fill your days with mountain biking on over 50 km of trails in the forest of Caledon, suitable for riders of all ages and skill levels. And, in the evenings, relax by the fire at your riverside campsite.

 LANDS END PARK

When you take one look at the views that Tobermory has to offer, you instantly realize why it deserves to be on this list. There are a few campsites to choose from, and you can even rent a cabin if you’d prefer, but we’d recommend Land’s End Park as your go-to campsite. No matter how you do it, make sure you get out to that gorgeous blue coastline!

 BASS LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK

At Bass Lake, you’ve got plenty of solid options for setting up camp. There are four different car camping options along with three group camping areas that you can reserve. Plus, Bass Lake is perfect for water activities and hiking, so you’ve got all the activities you could want.

 ROCKWOOD CONSERVATION AREA

At just over an hour outside of Toronto, Rockwood Conservation Area is perfect for a single-night getaway or weekend escape. You’ll fall in love with the massive limestone cliffs and glacial potholes that make this one of the most unique natural landscapes around.
