Warm up with 5 amazing hot springs near Toronto this fall

Some of us are STILL struggling with the loss of our beloved summer weather and we’re in desperate need of warmth. Since we can’t get our fix, the next best option is a hot spring. That’s one of the best ways to stay warm this season cause we all know we need it.

Travelling south may not be much of an option so thankfully these hot springs are just a drive away from Toronto. So grab your things and hit the road, here’s a guide to 5 hot springs near Toronto so you can get toasty.

The Millcroft Inn and Spa

Sweet, sweet warmth is only an hour’s drive from Toronto. Sneak away to this paradise in the country and sink into their gorgeous outdoor hot spring.

Where: 55 John Street, Alton ON

Pillar & Post

This Niagara-on-the-Lake spa is the best of both worlds (yes, that was Hannah Montana-inspired). On one hand, there’s a super cool indoor pool framed by palm trees and tropical prints. On the other, there’s the secluded outdoor hot spring. We recommend a dip in both.

Where: 48 John St West, Niagara-on-the-Lake

Scandinave Spa at Blue Mountain

This is the literal embodiment of a winter wonderland. It’s like a vacation in Scandinavia, without the 14-syllable words and canned fish. The hot spring at the Scandinave Spa is absolutely dreamy. In fact, a sign saying “enjoy the quiet” welcomes you into the springs. Don’t mind if we do!

Where: 152 Grey County Rd 21, The Blue Mountains

Grail Springs Retreat

This place is absolutely jam-packed with wellness features. We all need to become a better version of ourselves sometimes and there’s no way you could leave Grail Springs without feeling new and improved. Take a soak in the outdoor mineral tub, which opens your pores and eliminates toxins. You heard us right, it clears your skin.

Where: 2004 Bay Lake Rd, Bancroft

Body Blitz East

Don’t have time to leave the city? Pay a visit to Body Blitz East. This women-only facility boasts two Epsom salt pools, a cold plunge pool, a eucalyptus steam room, and an infrared sauna. You can get all the benefits of their water-focused healing without the roadie.

Where: 497 King St E

See you in the sauna, Toronto!
