TRILLIUM PARK
Home to some of the best views of the city skyline, Trillium Park is a spot you cannot miss this winter. Their winding trail makes for a great waterside walk. Plus, they’ve even got a cozy fire pit along the way for warming up. This spot makes for the perfect outdoor date location.

HIGH PARK
The outdoors are your oyster at this amazing Toronto park. There are tons of nooks and crannies at High Park to explore. You can even go skating or snowshoeing while on-site! Or find a spot on the snow for an afternoon winter picnic. Just be sure to load up on the hot cocoa to keep you warm.

BELTLINE TRAIL
This outdoor oasis spans a whopping 9 kilometres. So be prepare for quite the hike if you plan on walking the whole path. Along the way, you’ll be met with gorgeous outdoor surroundings. The spot used to be a Toronto railway, so it’s got a neat industrial feel to it in parts as well.

TOMMY THOMPSON PARK
Walk along the water at the Leslie Street Spit. This spot’s a go-to for bikers in the summer, but we promise in the winter it’s just as pretty. Maybe even prettier! The jury’s still out on that. Head on down for gorgeous outdoor scenery with the backdrop of Toronto’s skyline in the distance.

WEST TORONTO RAILPATH
Looking for a more urban feel? This pathway is for you. The West Toronto Railpath will take you right through the trendy Junction Triangle. There are loads of street art, coffee shops, and industrial vibes along the way. It’s the perfect combination of the great outdoors and urban city living.

EVERGREEN BRICKWORKS
This Toronto spot becomes a whole winter wonderland once the snow hits. Explore the many pathways and nearby hikes. Or head inside for a coffee and look around their winter market. They even have a gorgeous skating rink on site! Just be sure to check COVID-19 regulations for info on that.

BLUFFER’S PARK
This Scarborough location has some of the prettiest views in town. Walk the top of the cliffs for incredible sights of Lake Ontario and the park below. Or hit the trails of Bluffer’s Park to experience the winter wonderland in person. They even have a holiday drive-thru going on this season, for those of you who prefer staying in the warmth of your car.

The Toronto Islands in the winter may be a more low-key choice, but we promise they’re worth the trip. The whole place becomes a glistening outdoor wonderland, with unbelievable views of the city. You can ferry into Ward Island, then explore the outdoor area to experience it all for yourself.

GRAFFITI ALLEY
Outdoor art isn’t just for the summertime. Check out Toronto’s most famous street art area decorated with a little snow this season. This walk is perfect for those of you looking for a bit of fresh air, but not looking for a full escape from the city. Plus, there are tons of nearby coffee shops to pick up a warm beverage to accompany you on your journey.

This incredible nature oasis spans 8.5 kilometre. This one’s for those of you looking to forget you live in an urban landscape. Escape into the great outdoors as you walk along the extensive park and river. Plus, there’s tons of wildlife to spot along the way!

MOCCASIN TRAIL PARK
You can hit up Toronto’s famous rainbow bridge with a winter walk on this trail. Head to North York and walk along the DVP at this outdoor oasis. You’ll be surrounded by forestry, so you’ll feel like you’ve left the city. But you’ll still be right next to all the hustle and bustle of it all.
