Starting this May, Sundance Balloons will have you feel like you’re dreaming on this incredible day trip. It’s hard to believe that these hot air balloon rides are only a two-hour drive from the city. But it’s true! And we’ve got our head in the clouds just thinking about it.

Speaking of dreamy, why not go for a day of rest and relaxation? This incredible Scandinavian Spa is perfect for that. Experience the ultimate peaceful oasis only two hours outside of the city. Sigh, we feel rejuvenated already. Or, you can head to the Finnish Nordic spa just north of the city.

No, we sadly do not mean Paris, France. But this town is as charming as it gets here in Ontario! It’s been nicknamed “Canada’s prettiest little town” and we promise it lives up to the title. Take a day trip here to see for yourself.

If you ask us, this spot is the perfect day trip getaway. They’ve got beautiful lavender fields to explore. Plus, they even have a winery! A glass of vino to go with the perfect Instagram location? Yes, please!

This farmers’ market is open every Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. So make a morning trip for all the best produce, baked goods, flowers, knick-knacks, and more. We promise it’s worth getting up early on the weekend for. A brand new ecotourism spot was recently built in Ontario. It’s brought to us by the community of Six Nations. And its goal is to promote the history and culture of the Haudenosaunee. You can visit here to learn about and participate in the sustainable and holistic practices of the area.

This day trip is perfect for all the thrill-seekers out there. Did you know that only about two hours outside of the city you can find a massive suspension bridge to cross? If you’re afraid of heights, we recommend sitting this one out. Strolling along this eye-popping bridge is enough excitement to quench anyone’s thirst for adventure.

This cool spot is perfect for those of you who like to learn about history on your day trips. The Dundurn National Historic Site is home to the Dundurn Castle, The Hamilton Military Museum, and the Historic Kitchen Garden. And it’s all just one hour away from the city.

You’ll find this incredible sight right in the GTA in Caledon. According to Ontario Heritage Trust, the badlands were first formed at the base of an ancient sea over 450 million years ago. It’s known as “one of the most recognizable and visited natural heritage landmarks in southern Ontario,” and for good reason. There’s nothing else quite like it anywhere in the province and the history is equally as fascinating.

Some of the best art in the province can be explored just a short drive from the city. We know, we know, you really thought you’d seen it all at the AGO. But we promise there’s more to discover at Alton Mill.
