Truth be told, we didn’t even know that National Espresso Day was a thing. So, it came as a surprise to find out about it, and from a vodka brand no less. Grey Goose is planning a takeover of a local spot this month, and they’re giving away a free martini to everyone who visits!
Grey Goose will be setting up shop at the already gorgeous Palate Kitchen, but they’ve got some extra touches in mind. The venue will be transformed into an ‘exclusive space’ with French music playing, cocktail culture on display, and a look at the Grey Goose heritage.

And to help celebrate, the brand is offering one Vodka Espresso Martini Cocktail for everyone who makes a reservation. Plus, you’ll also get a ‘custom dessert’ to pair it with. Here’s hoping it’s something fun like an espresso eclair or a fun flavour of a macaron.
The event has proven popular, but a couple of later timeslots (30 mins long) are still available! If you’re looking for a nightcap spot after dinner, this could be the perfect option.
STATEMENT FROM EVENT ORGANIZERS ON NOVEMBER 18th:
Given the current state of emergency in British Columbia, we believe the only responsible decision is to postpone the Grey Goose Après Dark event scheduled for November 23 & 24 at Palate.
In lieu of the event, Grey Goose has donated to the Canadian Red Cross and its “British Columbia Floods & Extreme Weather Appeal” to support the tireless relief and recovery efforts in the province.
We hope to reschedule the event for January 2022.
