Here, in an old Jewish Synagogue turned home/office, the drinks are actually FREE – instead, they ask that you donate to local charity Inn From The Cold.

Helping families overcome obstacles that often lead to a cycle of homelessness, this particular organization has impacted over 6,000 families since 2008 and will continue to do so with support from the public and places like GrayBar!

So how exactly does this place work? Well, It’s simple and super cool!

“Guests first book a time with us when we are home and free to do a hosting, and then donate usually $200 – $500 per person to the Inn,” Owner, Douglas Gray told Curiocity.

“The Inn is a registered charity. And nothing flows through us – you donate directly to the Inn – we are doing this to drive support for the Inn, and share cocktails with cool new people.”

What’s more is that, in addition to drinks (which are listed on a ‘passport’), guests can also indulge in snacks which range from charcuterie and bruschetta to spring rolls and samosas, depending on timing and your donation.

Plus – they’ve got two adorable mini boxer dogs who eagerly greet guests upon their arrival.

“We provide all the cocktails, wine, bubbles and snacks for our karmically minded guests,” Gray added.

“We get lots of requests – and are happy to meet new cool friends to drink with, who help the Inn.”
