These companies in Canada are ranked the world’s most-loved workplaces

Good company culture is more important than ever these days, and some workplaces stand out from the rest in this department.

The Global Most Loved Workplaces for 2023 have been revealed, and the ranking names the top 100 companies that are going above and beyond for their employees.

The ranking is published by Newsweek in partnership with the benchmark research company Best Practice Institute (BPI).

According to Newsweek, these companies have “open-door policies where employees feel heard, offer flexibility that supports work/life balance, and provide opportunities for professional development, promotion, and recognition.”

The findings are based on BPI’s Love of Workplace Index analysis, which uses data provided directly by employees, plus ratings, reviews, and interviews.

Out of 100 companies, only one Canadian workplace has made the cut.

O2E Brands, a company based in Vancouver, has landed in 22nd place for its “strong culture and cohesive teams.”

The company hosts  “frequent bonding events and celebrating each win together,” says the ranking.

“There is the freedom to innovate and room to grow within the company with professional development programs offered and encouraged.”

Although it is the only Canadian company on the list, other multi-national companies included in the ranking have large Canadian footprints.

HLB International landed in 1st place and has an entire HLB Canada workforce.

Hilton Grand Vacations landed in 14th place and is also currently hiring in Canadian ski towns like Whistler, Mont-Tremblant, and Blue Mountain.

In 19th place is the leading automation tech company Zapier, where there are tons of remote job openings that Canadians can apply to.

You can see all 100 companies included in the ranking right here.

So, if you could use a little bit more recognition at your 9 to 5, it’s time to throw your resume at the Global Most Loved Workplaces for 2023.
