The actor took to his Instagram to share his excitement about his latest venture writing, “This series shows some of the most beautiful locations Canada has to offer using Vancouver and surrounding areas of British Columbia as our backdrop, as well as featuring some incredible Canadian Talent, in front of and behind the camera, that I cannot wait for you all to see.”

The show also stars Canadian actress Vanessa Morgan who plays a con woman who partners up with Giacomo Gianniotti’s character Ellis, a demoted by-the-book detective, as the two try to redeem themselves and find a way to work together using their unique skills to solve crimes.

If this sounds like a series you can’t wait to binge, “Wild Cards” is already out in Canada on CBC and CBC Gem with new episodes on Wednesdays, and premieres stateside on January 17th on The CW.
