Most people like to take in slow in the winter months – but for the speed demons who live in the fast lane, there’s the Ghost Lake Ice Track in Alberta.
Located 30 minutes from Calgary, this thrilling ice course is maintained by Faster Higher and has been recognized as the largest of its kind in North America.
Featuring 84 turns and 6 tracks that total 9.6 km, adventure seekers are not only encouraged to check it out – but through the local company, can also experience racing on it themselves with or without the help of one of their trained professionals.
