Here’s how you can get your favorite Ivar’s entree for $1.18

Seattle has a few notable local fast food chains, and when it comes to seafood, Ivar’s has to be the most iconic. Each year, they celebrate their founder…err flounders birthday and this year Ivar Haglund, would have been a spry 118. In honor of his birthday, the chain is offering diners their second entree for $1.18.

On Tuesday, March 21st, you can visit any Ivar’s Seafood Bars, the Fish Bars, Acres of Clams, Salmon House or Mukilteo Landing for Ivar’s Birthday Special. Each customer is eligible for the buy one entrée and get one for $1.18 from Ivar’s Birthday Menu. To get the deal, all you have to do is say, “Happy birthday, Ivar!”

Keep in mind that menus offerings will vary at each location and are subject to change.

Additionally, online ordering will be suspended on the 21st. So get out there, go in person, bring a friend, maybe even hop on your boat if you’re so lucky and snag an amazing deal. Just make sure to keep the seagulls away.
