A beloved festival is making a return this September. The Geary Art Crawl will bring arts, music, and entertainment to the city in just a few weeks.

Earlier this summer, the future of this festival was in limbo due to a lack of key funding from the provincial government.

Thankfully, with the help of the Canadian government and the City of Toronto, as well as community donations and support, the festival is officially on this year!

Although the programming will be slightly scaled down, the festivities will be taking place as scheduled on September 23rd and 24th.

Visitors can look forward to a weekend full of excitement all along Geary Avenue, all for free!

This year’s attractions include live music, DJs, pop-up bars, art installations, workshops, and of course, delicious food.

This will be one of several exciting events in the city this September!

Also coming our way this month are the highly-anticipated Toronto Film Festival (TIFF), the Toronto Waterfront Festival, Taste of the Kingsway, the Roncesvalles Polish Festival, the Bloor West Village Ukranian Festival, and Nuit Blanche, to name a few.

If community spirit, arts, culture, dance, and culinary delights are your cup of tea, then your cup will be overflowing on Geary Street this month.

Given the uncertainty of the past few months, we can expect this year’s art crawl to be filled with feelings of gratitude and joy.

We’ll see you there, Toronto!
