This national park in Quebec is home to some of the oldest mountains in the world

According to Sépaq the rocks that form the mountains are up to 600 million years old making them among some of the world’s oldest. Although they are still young when compared to Quebec and Ontario’s other notable range, The Laurentian Mountains which are up to 1.7 billion years old.

Beyond hiking, you can enjoy kayaking, fishing, and of course wildlife watching. In the winter you can enjoy snowshoeing as well as backcountry and cross-country skiing.
