This tech company is expanding their Cochrane headquarters & hiring for 200 positions

Ready to write your next chapter? Garmin, a well-known tech company, just announced that they’ll be expanding their Cochrane, Alberta headquarters and you’re going to want to update your resume!

As announced in a recent press release, in addition to adding a third floor to their existing office space, they will also be on the hunt for 200 additional people to fill a variety of new positions.

From engineers to scientists, technology pros and even mathematicians, Garmin has begun looking for talented hopefuls in the area.

“Our office’s journey started in 1998 with four of us working out of a garage in Cochrane. It’s incredible to be announcing this expansion and to be welcoming more team members to join us,” said Jim Rooney, Garmin Canada’s Managing Director.

“We are grateful for Cochrane’s support and alignment with our long-term vision for future growth. I hear it from our associates every day – there’s no better place to live, work and play.”

Interested? Garmin is hoping to open their new office space next Spring and will be hiring between now and then, so keep an eye on their postings.
