Live music under the sea? Sign us up! Friday Night Jazz at Ripley’s Aquarium is one of the most unique cocktail parties in the city.
“With a live jazz band playing all the classics as you sip your drink of choice under the sea, a night of musical adventure awaits,” the description says.
The event is being held every second Friday of the month until December. The show starts at 7 p.m., and you’ll have until 11 p.m. to enjoy the sounds of a live jazz band while you sip cocktails and take in the fascinating views.

Wander your way through the aquarium and see the exotic deep-sea creatures gliding through the water all around you.
Then, head to one of the bars located throughout the aquarium and order a cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage while the band takes the stage.
The aquarium’s live music schedule is available on its website. The two jazz bands that will be performing are called Lady Be Good and Hey Love.
Tickets range in price based on age, but adult admission is $44 per ticket. This includes access to the live show and aquarium admission. Beverages from the bar are available for purchase with a debit or credit card only.
