Fremont Oktoberfest returns next month with over 100 beers & Dogtoberfest

While October may seem lightyears away, it will be here before you know it. Although, Fremont Oktoberfest will be here even sooner because Seattle’s largest beer festival actually takes place in September. Here’s when you can enjoy it and what to know about this year’s festival.

Fremont Oktoberfest is back for one weekend this September with more than 100 beers and ciders for you to enjoy. As always, the event is strictly 21+ and there will be a variety of eats like pretzels and bratwurst available for purchase.

In addition to enjoying the drinks, you can also participate in games like Stein hoisting as well as an “Outdoor Sports Lounge” and DJ tower for dancing.

Dogtoberfest takes place on Sunday and there’s even a “Bowser Beer Garden.” Psst, Bowser Beer is a non-alcoholic beer for dogs. It’s important to note that your dogs must be on leash at all times.

When it comes to purchasing tickets you have three options. The first is General Admission ($25-$35) which is valid for one day and includes 5 tasting tokens as well as a 5oz commemorative tasting mug, while supplies last. The second is Grand Admission ($35-$45) which is also valid for one day only and includes 10 tasting tokens and a 5oz commemorative tasting mug, while supplies last. Last but not least is Festival Only Admission ($15-$25) which is valid for one day and includes two tickets for water or soda.

The festival benefits the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, which is a non-profit organization that supports Shop Local, helps procure and maintain Fremont’s public art, and celebrates the talents of the community. So you can rest easy knowing that you’re drinking for a good cause.

Keep in mind that this year, there is no re-entry allowed on Friday or Saturday, re-entry is only allowed on Sunday. What’s more, dogs are only allowed on Sunday for Dogtoberfest.
