Do West Fest

Do West Fest is returning in late-spring for another weekend-long street festival in the west end.

Formerly Dundas West Fest, this neighbourhood-wide event is a Dundas West tradition. Food, drinks entertainment, live music, and good vibes — what more could you ask for? Although food and drinks are not free, attending the event is!

When: June 9th to 11th, 2023

Pedestrian Sundays at Kensington Market

The Sunday street parties we know and love are back at Kensington Market.

Pedestrian Sundays is returning for its second edition this season on June 25th and will continue well into the fall.

The sounds of live music and smells of street food will fill the air and visitors will be treated to live performances, entertainment, art showcases, and displays from local creators.

Pride Toronto

Toronto is coming alive for Pride Month once again and there are so many events, parades, rallies, and celebrations to check out – especially the free ones.

From parties and performances to marketplaces and workshops, there are so many ways to celebrate LGTBQIA2S+ pride and show your support.

AGO Free Wednesday Nights

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has a longstanding tradition of allowing the public to visit the gallery for free every Wednesday evening.

Free general admission tickets must be booked in advance, online.

If you don’t manage to get one, be on the lookout on Mondays when a limited number of free timed-entry tickets are released for the following Wednesday.

Free events in The Distillery District

It’s going to be an eventful June in the Distillery!

The Distillery will have free live outdoor jazz shows and buskers every weekend this summer, plus a local market, and yoga classes on Sunday mornings.

The Trinity Street patio has been expanded with palm trees and 150 seats. Plus, there will be live jazz shows from June 2nd to 4th and a Queer Marketplace from June 5th to 11th.

Smorgasburg Toronto

Attention, foodies of Toronto! The largest weekly open-air food market in America, Smorgasburg, is gracing our waterfront for the second summer in a row.

The market, which is popular in cities like Brooklyn, LA, and Miami, has announced that it will be returning to Toronto every Sunday from late June to early September.

Admission to the “food flea market” is free and there will be over 50 hand-picked vendors on-site showcasing their delicious cuisine.

When: Every Sunday from June 29th to September 9th, 2023, 11 AM to 6 PM

The World Naked Bike Ride 2023

It’s almost that time of the year again! The annual World Naked Bike Ride is coming back to Toronto and will be taking place this spring. The only time in the city where you’ll see a bunch of naked people cruising around Toronto on their bikes – on June 10, 2023.

Riders are encouraged to join the legal ride, which is free of charge and there’s no registration.

Toronto BluesFest

Toronto Bluesfest is a free event to attend featuring live blues performances along with a youth talent session, food and drinks, a community marketplace, and even a kid’s zone.

Taste of Little Italy

Get ready to enjoy three full days of great food, live music, and shopping. The beloved annual food and street fest, Taste of Little Italy is back in Toronto this June.

Starting on June 16th, the family-friendly street and food festival takes over parts of College Street, welcoming all to their little neighbourhood for a weekend of fun.

The even is free to attend!

Toronto Outdoor Picture Show

The season of movies under the stars is about to return here in the city! The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (TOPS) is making a comeback for the summer with a new series named Another World, a 21-date open-air festival programme.

Another World will unfold over nightly pairings of short and feature films that bring to life the microscopic worlds beneath our feet and of the far reaches of outer space; tales from the distant past and dystopian futures; and visions of escapist fantasies juxtaposed against unique spaces forged by communities building new, better worlds in the here-and-now,” shares organizers.
