Other participating sites in Washington State include the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. It is however, important to keep in mind that the “entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.”

So if you’ve been meaning to check out the views at Rainier or are curious about state history be sure to utilize this wonderful opportunity to experience the outdoors for free. After all, there won’t be another free entrance day until January 2024.

Enjoy your free entrance day at Washington’s National Parks!
