So grab your warmest layers and get ready to appreciate the season with your loved ones. Here’s where you can find dazzling Christmas lights that are free to enjoy in & around Vancouver.
St. Paul’s Lights of Hope is one of their biggest fundraising events, attracting visitors from across the Lower Mainland with an array of bright lights and colourful displays.
Since 1998, gifts to Lights of Hope Vancouver have amassed over $53.7 million in donations, which have gone towards hundreds of thousands of patients across BC.

The new free-to-attend Christmas Market at the Shipyards is full of festive lights, sweet treats, artisan vendors, and a giant Christmas Tree at Shipbuilders Square.

From November 23rd to December 31st, Steveston Village is transforming into a festive winter celebration adorned with charming holiday lights.
Visitors can visit with Santa, do some holiday shopping, and peruse the shops throughout the village.

In addition to the holiday light displays mapped throughout the City of Burnaby, Burnaby Village Museum is offering free admission to their annual Heritage Christmas fest, which includes 10 acres of decorated museum grounds to explore.

The 76-foot tall Christmas tree in downtown Vancouver in front of the Art Gallery (šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square) has now been lit, and what better place to start your holiday light crawl?

The Dundarave Festival of Lights just kicked off its 2024 season, and its illuminated Christmas Tree Forest will light up West Vancouver with holiday cheer all season long, until Jan. 5.
