If you feel like you’re in need of a reality check, an evening with Fran Lebowitz might just set you straight. And it’s actually attainable because she’s coming to Seattle this February. You’ll be able to see her in the flesh at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall hosted by David Schmader.
Lebowitz long-awaited return to Benaroya Hall will be a chat with Seattle favorite David Schmader. Schmader is “a writer and performer devoted to exploring his obsessions.” You may know him best as author of The Stranger’s “Last Days: The Week in Review” which he wrote for 18 years.

If you’re attending this talk then you need no introduction to Lebowitz. Although if you’ve been out of the loop recently, you may want to watch her 2021 Netflix series Pretend It’s a City which was directed by Martin Scorcese. You’ll want to come prepared because after Lebowitz and Schmader chat they’re going to field audience questions.
For the time being tickets are still available but the event will likely sell out. So as we always say, plan ahead and purchase your tickets ASAP. Like most events these days you will need to wear a mask and provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours.
