Feast on a 3-course fondue dinner under the stars in Edmonton’s most magical garden

Love is in the air and it smells a whole lot like fondue! This winter, in celebration of the cozy season and a healthy appetite, sweethearts, families and Galentine’s can check out the University of Alberta’s Botanical Garden for the Northern Lights Dining experience in Edmonton – an evening of food and romance under the stars.

Every Thursday to Sunday from now until March 13th, diners can suit up and hunker down for a lavish 3-course spread in a heated dome stationed in one of YEG’s most beautiful parks.

Serving both sweet and savoury, this all-fondue meal has been curated using only the freshest ingredients, sourced from Canadian food and beverage artisans.

“This year’s Northern Light Dining Experience, including menu and guest comfort, has been enhanced by a collaboration with award-winning Edmonton Chef Cindy Lazarenko and Sherry Honey, local tourism and hotel/venue professional,” they write on their website.

“With over 30 years of experience each, these partners have contributed to an evening that is welcoming and delicious”… and honestly, looking at their sample menu, we’d have to agree.

From fresh apples, tiger prawns and chicken, potatoes and even a garlic ring to homemade marshmallows, fresh fruits and toffee bits for dessert, this meal sounds dippabley delectable and we can’t wait to check it out.

Prices range from $145 to $870 depending on the group size and reservations can be made now. Enjoy!
