Twinkling gardens, illuminated fountains, and music under the stars? Sounds like an enchanting combination to us. The Festival of Fountains at Whistling Gardens returns this month.

Taking place in the Night Garden, the Festival of Fountains is described as a “highly visual and immersive experience.”

The botanical garden hosts this event every year, creating a “theatrical fountain experience unlike anything ever seen before in Canada.”

The show begins at nightfall during the festival — before the show begins, visitors can explore the entire award-winning 22-acre park, order on-site snacks and drinks, and enjoy performances by local talent.

Over 100 fountains are illuminated with custom-built lights and activated with computerized pumps.

The display is choreographed to music, so not only will you be witnessing the glowing fountains shoot into the night sky, but you’ll also hear beautiful old-world sounds and a variety of instruments.

The music will include pieces by Pedro Eustache (Yanni, Hans Zimmer), the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, and musicians across Canada.

Special effects and state-of-the-art technology are used to to take this show to the next level.
