From prime ribs to surf and turf dinner specials, there’s plenty for Dad to eat in celebration of Father’s Day 2022. The question is, are you making a pit stop at Playland for a couple of rides, heading to an auto show, or both? With so many options this year, you might just want to make it Father’s Day week.
Without further ado, here’s our roundup of things to do with your dad in honour of Father’s Day 2022.
Maple Rye Whiskey at Odd Society Spirits

At 46% ABV per 375 mL bottle, the new limited-edition Maple Rye Whisky at Odd Society Spirits is no joke. But if a sip of whisky is Dad’s preferred way to unwind and celebrate, this is definitely a good choice.
Distiller Joel McNichol put a new-make 100% BC grown rye spirit in maple syrup casks for this exclusive release, waiting almost four years for it to age. He then blended in a small bit of maple-smoked single malt to soften the edges, resulting in a whisky that’s robust and spicy, with notes of dried apricot and toasted marshmallow.

Play a few rounds of mini-golf, walk through a haunted house, or race up a climbing wall. Or just peruse Playland with a bunch of mini donuts – that’s good too.
Pops and Hops Improv on Granville IslandĀ
