A new burger joint has arrived in our city. Fatburger celebrated the grand opening of its first Ontario location this week, and it’s right in the heart of Toronto.

Toronto’s first Fatburger is now open at Bathurst Street and Bloor Street West, not too far from where Canada’s first Wingstop restaurant is now open.

The chain was first established in Los Angeles way back in the 1940s. Since then, it has expanded across the U.S., as well as western Canada.

This Toronto location is the beginning of Fatburger’s expansion across Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes, according to Fatburger’s parent company.

Fatburger Canada has been Canadian-owned and operated since 2005, serving up award-winning burgers at 67 locations in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

The burgers are made with fresh, never frozen Alberta Angus beef. They contain no additives, binders, or fillers, and are always made to order.

Fatburger says it prioritizes quality with all of its menu items. The chicken tenders are hand-breaded from scratch with premium Canadian chicken.

Whether you’re craving a simple cheeseburger with all the toppings or a giant burger with three stacked patties, this menu has something for you.

According to a press release from Fatburger shared with Canadian Business Franchise, all beef and chicken will be halal-certified exclusively at its Ontario location.

If you want to be among the first to experience Fatburger in Ontario, you can give this burger joint a try right now in the Annex.
