After much anticipation and buzz, we’ve got a visual! This week, FX finally gave fans a first look at Jon Hamm’s new character in the Alberta-shot series Fargo … and it’s giving ‘Stampede.’

Also starring Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) and Joe Keery (Stranger Things), the popular anthology is currently wrapping things up in Calgary, but according to FX, will be small-screen ready by late 2023.

Luckily, to hold us over until then, the network has finally given us a glimpse behind the curtain and we’re a fan.

As seen below, this season will be particularly familiar to Calgarians, with cowboy ‘Roy’ appearing front and centre in the only two photos to have been released.

Sadly though, not much has been confirmed in regard to the upcoming installment – only that it will take place in 2019 and will likely involve a kidnapping of sorts, but you better believe we’ll be watching.

From Kirsten Dunst and Ewan McGregor to twists, turns and incredibly well-written scripts – Fargo has hit it out of the park season after season and currently holds an average score of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hopefully, we get some more information soon – but until then, enjoy the well-lit teasers above and get excited! It’ll only be a matter of time until we see movie magic sprinkled over our province once more!
