It’s been a one-stop-shop for all things pop culture, and it’s returning to the city this February! That’s right, the FAN EXPO is coming back to Vancouver in just a few weeks time, and if you’re thinking of going, we’ve got the info you need to know.
Combining everything from movie and TV stars, to voice actors, to major names in the gaming world, FAN EXPO is a celebration of practically every part of pop culture. After taking a hiatus last year, the expo is back for 2022 in a big way, taking over the Vancouver Convention Centre for three days straight, February 19th to 21st.

During that time, visitors will get to experience everything from celebrity appearances (including, at time of writing, William Shatner, Jay and Silent Bob, and the Trailer Park Boys) to live podcast tapings and talks. Of course, they can also check out a wide variety of booths selling everything from comic books to fan art, and participate in a cosplay competition.
In order to make it happen, FAN EXPO Vancouver will be requiring both Proof of Vaccination and masks to be worn at all times while visiting. So, you might just have to pick a character that wears one already- lucky for you, that’s not exactly a tall task at all.
And what’s more, you can rest assured that you’ll be able to experience this massive event in a safe way. Start planning your costume, pop culture lovers!
