Anything free, sign us up! A cool and exciting outdoor playground for racquet lovers is now open in Toronto and it’s totally free to try out. Fairgrounds Public Racket Club is Toronto’s “first democratic sports club.”
If you’re on the hunt for something new to try or have found enjoyment in a few rounds of pickleball, your search has come to an end.
Fairgrounds Public Racquet Club is a brand new outdoor playground that has opened at 2400 Yonge Street. It features pickleball courts that can be played on for free.
For those who may not know what the game is, it’s a combination of badminton, tennis, and ping pong. Loads of fun!

The playground features five pickleball courts, rotating food and beverage offerings, and weekly programs like free-play opportunities, drop-in sessions for all, and even a dedicated court time for Toronto’s youths.
The pop-up will also be offering free pickleball and free Flow water every Tuesday.
In addition to the physical clubs, there is a digital platform where community members can find matches, sign up for events and connect with others! What a fun way to get connected and meet more people in your area.
