If you haven’t heard the news, things are going to look a lot different in BC over the next few weeks. It turns out that as a province, we’re not doing so hot with COVID-19. Now, our province now has some pretty big restriction changes that you should know about.
Before we get into the details, we know this isn’t fun. No one likes restrictions but they’re imperative in keeping us all safe. So let this new set of restrictions be a reminder to remain vigilant in protecting yourself and others from COVID-19. That means wearing a mask, social distancing, washing your hands, and not spending time in groups of people.
Right off the bat, dining is changing. and if you didn’t hear already you can click here to learn more. But basically, dining is now takeout only or outdoor patio dining. And if you’re at a patio it needs to be with only your immediate household bubble.

We know this one is going to hurt a lot of you but indoor gyms are closed for adult group fitness activities. Thankfully, you can still go to the gym if you’re doing one on one training, but no spin classes, aerobics, or group activities will be allowed.
And sadly for those of you that are religious, indoor worship services have been suspended. So that means no church this Easter. Again, we know it sucks but the right thing to do is to stay home in these times.
Finally, Whistler is also going to be closed until at least April 19th. And as you all know, this is because COVID-19 cases are booming. So that means we’re all going to have to hunker down for a while and get creative in entertaining ourselves at home. And it should go without saying but now is absolutely not the time to travel.
