Erieau is a “charming village peninsula on Lake Erie” in the Chatham-Kent district and is home to only 363 residents!

Let’s start with the iconic lighthouse pier!

The lighthouse was built in 1912 and has been a popular destination for locals and tourists ever since!

The paved boardwalk leading to the lighthouse and the lighthouse itself have stunning views of Lake Erie making for a relaxing place to perch or a perfect photo opportunity!

And if you enjoy views by the water then your next stop has to be Erieau Beach!

According to the village’s website, “Erieau boasts some of the warmest waters on Lake Erie.” and the sandy beach is a great place to spend the day reading or hanging out with the family.

If you’re hungry, Molly & OJ’s Restaurant serves up some delicious dishes, known for their fresh perch.

To finish off your perfect summer day in Erieau be sure to stop for some ice cream.

Right in the heat of the village is Mariner’s Cone and Shakes, located at 825 Mariners Rd.

Grab a scoop and stroll along the water! Does it get any better than that?
