It really doesn’t get more Canadian than a maple syrup festival. Did you know the world’s largest one-day maple syrup festival is right here in Ontario?! The 60th Elmira Maple Syrup Festival not only holds a Guinness World Record, but it’s also taking place this month!

The festival takes place all over the town of Elmira, located just outside of Kitchener, Ontario.

According to Elmira Maple Syrup Festival’s website, “has the world’s largest one-day maple syrup festival. We are in the Guinness Book of World Records.”

There is a full day of festivities kicking off on April 6th at 7:00 AM with fresh pancakes for $5!

Guests are encouraged to visit the Festival Headquarters to purchase festival gear (baseball caps, toques, fanny packs), the “Sweet Memories” 60th Festival Candles, Sap Buckets, the 2024 Collector Car, and the Producer of the Year’s collector bottle of Maple Syrup.

There will also be over 120 vendors lining Arthur Street, a toy show, a craft and art show and even live performances at Woolwich Memorial Complex from local bands.

There is a Sugar Bush Tour guests can take part in as well, costing $6 per adult and $4 per child ages 3-17.
