Toronto’s beloved outdoor concert and picnic series is returning to Hanlan’s Point! Electric Island is making a comeback in May for another season of live music under the sun.

Kicking off music festival season here in Toronto is the Electric Island Season Opener, a weekend-long event with back-to-back performers by the waterfront.

This year’s festival is back for its 11th year and bigger than ever with eight days of music throughout the spring and summer.

The opening event will take place on Victoria Day weekend at the popular warm weather destination of Hanlan’s Point.

Hanlan’s Point is located on the Toronto Islands, so you’ll be taking a ferry to get there. It’s also where you’ll find Toronto’s popular clothing-optional beach!

Let’s hope the weather is warm enough for a post-dance party skinny dip.

Electric Island will take over Hanlan’s Point on May 20th and 21st, with jam-packed lineups across three separate stages.

Some of the major headliners include Black Coffee, Dubfire, Deborah De Luca, Sam Haze, Patrick Topping, Sven Vath, and so many more.

There are various food and drink vendors on site, so you can grab a bite in between sets. And be sure to bring your cards as this event is totally cashless.

There will be three more editions of Electric Island this year and the dates have been set for the remaining long weekends of the summer.

That includes Canada Day weekend, Civic Holiday weekend, and Labour Day weekend.

You can buy a single-day pass or a weekend pass to the season opener of Electric Island.

If you just can’t wait for festival season to begin, this iconic event is not one to miss!
