The countdown to 2023 is on and this year, it’s going to be explosive! As announced by the city, Edmonton will go ahead with its New Year’s Eve fireworks show and we suspected – it’s going to be ‘lit.’

Sure to delight and excite Edmontonians in every age group, this year’s programming will include not one, but two displays, as well as live music, food trucks, enchanting art installations and a variety of live acts.

Set to go off above the city hall pyramids, those in and around the area can enjoy this year’s 12-minute firework show at 8:30 pm as well as midnight, for your convenience.

If of course, you’d like to celebrate even earlier, the city is also encouraging families, friends and love birds to go for a skate at the City Hall Plaza ice rink at 6:30 pm, where the following will be performing:
