Looking for some family-friendly fun this weekend? You should know that the Edmonton Indigenous Peoples Festival is back for its 2022 event! On Saturday afternoon, you’ll get to enjoy a few hours of entertainment, music, and more through both in-person and virtual options. Here’s a quick rundown.
Originally kicking off in 2018, the Edmonton Indigenous Peoples Festival was created to support the National Indigenous Peoples Day. Focusing on showcasing talent and Indigenous culture from around Edmonton, the festival is a great way for people from all communities to join in on the fun.

This year is no different, naturally. On Saturday, June 18th, the festival will be coming to West Edmonton Mall for an afternoon of music, dancing, arts and more. People are invited to come check out the event in person, or they can stream it online from the comfort of their own home.
So, whether you had a shopping trip in mind or just want to experience things first hand, we suggest heading down there tomorrow!
