Happy first day of Spring! Here’s what’s in the forecast for Edmonton this week

The sun is out and spring is here, but what does Mother Nature have in store for Edmonton this week? According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, we could be in for a mixed bag of sun and snow between now and Sunday.

Kicking things off, the Edmonton weather forecast calls for some clouds high of -3°C on Tuesday, March 21st, then on Wednesday, 5°C and a clear sky!

Thursday will also follow suit with a daytime high of 4°C, but by the 24th, we could be in for 0°C and a chance of flurries – which is actually what we were told to expect earlier this month.

According to the Weather Network, Southwestern Alberta may experience above-normal precipitation this spring along with below-normal temperatures.

“March, and even April, could look and feel wintrier than what we saw during the heart of winter,” they wrote in their official spring forecast.

Of course, the Edmonton forecast is almost always subject to change, so here’s to staying positive and sunnier days ahead!

Alberta is a province of winter warriors, so no matter what gets thrown at us, we think we can handle it.

Have fun and enjoy it while you can, Edmonton. Hopefully, the worst is behind us.
