The Edmonton Christmas Market is the city’s signature winter destination, situated right in Fort Edmonton Park.
This market transforms Fort Edmonton Park into a winter wonderland, with glowing market huts and artisan showcases, mulled wine by firelight, live performances, culinary events, and so much more. It’s perfect for all ages, and whether it be a date night, a family outing, or a holiday celebration with friends, the Edmonton Christmas Market is winter’s dream destination.
Starting Nov. 29, you can experience the magic of the market in Fort Edmonton Park. This market successfully turns Canada’s largest living museum into an immersive wintery getaway. It’s a family-friendly festival, featuring mesmerizing live theatre and musical performances, as well as roaming entertainment featuring local festive acts.
Here, you can indulge in the best eats in Edmonton, with vendors offering exclusive menus just for this market. Whether it’s a classic maple taffy from Canadian Maple Shack, a hot chocolate, or even a burger from Woodshed Burgers, the menu is stacked with goods.
As for its events, there are hands-on sushi workshops, very merry high tea ceremonies, and even chances to get photos with Santa! For the full list of workshops, events, and activities, check out the schedule for opportunities to join in.
Tickets start at $20.95 for adult general admission, and start at $21.95 for adult workshop tickets, which include general admission. Kids five and under are free, and kids from ages six to 17 can get tickets for $10.95.
Included in general admission are its live performances, the many holiday photo opportunities, interactive Christmas installations, karaoke, carousel rides, Lover’s Lane, and much more.
