This Edmonton bar was ranked one of the best in Canada this year

It’s that time again, drink connoisseurs! Canada’s Best Bars for 2023 have been unveiled and to our delight, an Edmonton spot has been named among them!

From new spots to old favourites, 50 destinations were chosen from coast to coast by a group of respected bartenders, proprietors, distillers, brewmasters and educators.

And, while we didn’t manage to crack the top 20 this time around – Edmonton’s Clementine (once again) joined other Alberta contenders such as Proof in Calgary, which placed 11th on the list.

Located at 11957 Jasper Ave and ranked 25th overall, Clementine was revered for having a long list of cocktails and ‘art nouveau accents,’ as well as a $10 cocktail deal on Tuesdays.

Here guests can enjoy modern house cocktails, mixed with overlooked spirits, such as green Chartreuse, and white chocolate mezcal, which they describe as “one of many intriguing infusions.”

Besides its drinks, Clementine also offers small plates and natural wine,  but you’ll want to be punctual if you check out their daily happy hour – which runs until 6 pm.

The spot doesn’t take reservations, but it’s absolutely worth visiting after work or on the weekends. Check them out and enjoy! You won’t regret it,
