Calgary’s Eau Claire Market is closing for good but they’re hosting a HUGE farewell party

All good things must come to an end – but not without a fun send-off!

After 30 years of activities, fun and culture, The Eau Claire Market has announced it will officially close on May 31st, 2024 in order to make way for the Eau Claire Green Line LRT Station.

Luckily, for those who want to make a few more memories, they will be hosting a huge farewell party on May 11th, 2024.

“Join us as we bid a heartfelt farewell to Eau Claire Market, commemorating three decades of community, culture, and connections,” they wrote.

“Don’t miss out on a day packed with activities that celebrate the spirit of Calgary.”

Featuring live music and shows, heartwarming community performances and games, there will be a ton to do for the whole family

What’s more, you’ll also have the chance to walk through the market one last time and shop vendors from Calgary and Southern Alberta.

Before you leave, Make sure you write your name on the “MemEAUry” Mural! It’s going to be a bittersweet day.
