Calgary has done an incredible job keeping people out, about, supporting local artists and entertained – and Southcentre’s new Eat & Seek Installation is no exception! What sets it apart? well, let’s check it out!

The brand new space, located on the north-east end of the Mall (by the Starbuck), features art by local creatives Nicole Wolf and Chris Provins as well as 6 students who were chosen by the Alberta University of the Arts.

With a supersized word search with hidden messages, hopscotch blocks and equidistant tables, shoppers can stop into the food court, grab something to go and enjoy a bite in the sunshine!

“It is our hope that this will act as a colourful backdrop for Calgarians as they safely enjoy the outdoors and come together this summer to both experience engaging local art and support local businesses,” said Alexandra Velosa, Marketing Manager, Southcentre Mall, in a media release.

This particular installment, which seats around 60 people, will remain open until this fall – so you have a ton of time to check it out, but don’t miss out!

To say that this colourful masterpiece is just ‘pretty cool’ is a total understatement.
