Celebrate Toronto is kicking off the city’s 190th birthday, which falls on March 6th, in a special way.

Mark your calendars for Toronto’s birthday on Wednesday at 8:00 PM when Illumin Drone Shows light up the skies above Casa Loma for a free drone show!

According to Celebrate Toronto, spectators can expect the drones to display, “iconic Toronto landmarks and symbols to mark our city’s 190th Anniversary.”

Want to grab the best spot for optimal viewing of the light show?

Celebrate Toronto created a map showing which areas around Casa Loma to enjoy the drones from including a grassed area on Walmer Road across from Casa Loma.

If you can’t make it to the drone show, there will also be a free fireworks show on March 9th.

Head to Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday the 9th for the Celebrate Toronto event featuring over 100 vendors, food trucks, live music, art installations and of course fireworks.

The fireworks show will take place at 9:00 PM.

Look to the sky, Toronto!
