An award-winning Ontario holiday market is back for 2025 and it’s bigger than ever

Downtown Dresden is bringing the holiday magic for the seventh year in a row! The annual Dresden Night Market is a must-attend and only runs for one night, so mark Nov. 29, 2025, on your calendar.

The market is open from 3 to 8 p.m. and there’s no reason not to go, as admission is totally free.

There will be plenty of vendors, so you can do some holiday shopping for others or yourself. Over 100 different booths and stands will line the streets of downtown, so make sure you arrive with enough time to check them all out.

According to the team that puts on the market, it’s “one of the biggest and original events of its kind in Southern Ontario. The Dresden Night Market celebrates entrepreneurship, art, creativity, impactful community initiatives, diversity, and friendship.”

The market began in 2017, and since then, it has continued to expand and grow with more vendors and more attendees.

Warm drinks and food will be served at the Pop-Up Bar, with all proceeds from the bar going to the Dresden Sidestreets Youth Centre. Darn, it looks like you’ll have to order that second mulled wine – it’s for a good cause, after all.

If you’re coming from out of town, there are a few parking options you should know about:

  • Parking lot: 255 Park St.
  • Parking lot: 231 St. George St. N.
  • Parking lot: 941 North St.

I recommend making a little trip out of it by staying at the Retro Suites Hotel. This themed boutique spot has eight adorable suites, perfect for a weekend getaway.

The holiday spirit is slowly creeping in, so start planning those seasonal adventures, Ontario.
