“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the soonest date possible,” he said in an announcement just after 10 am ET.

“I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked.”

Drake continued to say that he hopes everyone stays safe and healthy.

In July, after a long hiatus, Drake had finally announced the return OVO Fest with a new event called October World Weekend, which is part of the Road To OVO Fest Tour.

Monday’s “Young Money reunion” featured Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

At the time of the show announcement, the artist said he’s currently working on bringing OVO Fest around the world in 2023 for the 10th anniversary, “but of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer,” he wrote on Instagram.

In previous years, each OVO fest brought out surprise guests to Toronto. Some of the headliners in past included Dave, Future, WizKid, Lil Uzi Vert, Roddy Ricch, Migos, Nav, Lil Yachty, Pressa, Rae Sremmurd, and Roy Wood$.

Fans will just have to hold on to their tickets for now, and hope that Drake gets better soon!
